Previously doctors had to accumulate 130 CPD points over three years. Now all part- and full-time medical practitioners registered with AHPRA must complete 50 hours of CPD every year, which must consist of three different activity types:

  • 12.5 hrs Education Activities
  • 25 hrs Performance Review & Outcome Measurement Activities (min. 5 hrs each)
  • 12.5 hrs of your choice

To help you meet these requirements, HealthCert certificate courses have been redesigned to now include all three mandatory CPD activity types and provide you with the minimum 50 hours requirement within each Professional and Advanced Certificate as well as Professional Diploma course.

In short, completing one single HealthCert certificate course will help you tick off the entire required annual 50 CPD hours.

You can choose from any of HealthCert’s university-assured certificate courses, providing foundation to subspecialist knowledge in a range of special interest fields, including:

  • Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery
  • Dermoscopy
  • General Dermatology
  • Aesthetic Medicine
  • Clinical Procedures
  • Men’s Health
  • Women’s Health
  • Medicinal Cannabis
  • Medical Nutrition

  • Geriatric Medicine & more

The courses can be completed fully online or with an optional practical workshop in Skin Cancer, Aesthetic Medicine or Clinical Procedures available in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth throughout the year.
